Meet the brewers
Don't feel like driving on the Schuylkill, can't blame you for it. Instead the brewers Doug and Evan from Manayunk Brewing are driving west to come see us on Thursday night, August 23. They will be bringing a few of their brews to us, including a firkin of Evans first batch of Lenape Indian Brown ale, dry hopped with Chinook and Centennial hops.
They will be bringing some things to give away as well.

Belgian Independence Day / Week
From July 13 - 21, we will celebrate Belgian Independence Day which took place on July 21, 1831.
This celebration commemorates the Belgian saying 'Enough' to the Dutch.
Enough wooden shoes!
Enough tulips!
They celebrated their independence by doing what they do better than almost anyone - they had a beer festival. So, stop by and have a drink to their independence. Our celebration will last all week. yummy!
Also during that week ...
We will celebrate St. Arnoldus Day on Wednesday, July 18th. Why you ask. Because St. Arnoldus is the patron saint of Belgian beer who urged the masses to drink beer instead of water during a plague epidemic. Because beer was sterilized in production and the local water was not, the people were saved. A true miracle!

First Day of Spring!
We are pretty sure that Gaius Plinius Caecilius Secundus loved spring time, who doesn’t, except maybe people with bad allergies. Anyway, we think it would be a great idea to celebrate spring and the achievements of Gaius with a toast of beer on the first day of spring this coming Tuesday, March 20 at 7pm. If weather permits (and it’s looking like a good forecast) we could be sipping them on our patio.
